Welcome!  My name is Michael Schut.  I have served in the faith-based creation care movement for over 12 years, primarily in an ecumenical Christian context.  For 11 years I served on the staff of Earth Ministry.  While there I gave hundreds of presentations: workshops, retreats, sermons, and classes. 

I also edited and wrote two books and a number of curricular resources.  The two books are: Simpler Living, Compassionate Life: A Christian Perspective and Food and Faith: Justice, Joy, and Daily Bread.  Both are comprised of an anthology of essays and a community-building study guide.  I am currently putting together a third book, tentatively titled: Money and Faith: A Journey of the Heart.

I continue to offer retreats, workshops and other educational experiences for colleges, churches, denominational conferences, and retreat centers.  I would love to hear from you to explore the possibility of speaking and teaching for you/your organization.
